EARLY LIFE
André Fila's connection with art began long before tattooing. Growing up in a small town in São Paulo, Brazil, he was surrounded by the 3rd world visual intensity, urban culture, graffiti, and handcrafted creativity from an early age.
What started as childhood curiosity quickly evolved into a deeper obsession with visual expression — drawing, painting, sculpting, and customizing objects became part of his identity long before he understood art as a profession.
This early immersion into street aesthetics and emotional storytelling would later become the foundation of his artistic language.

Over the years, André Fila has received international recognition for his work in realism and contemporary visual art, earning more than 25 awards throughout his career.
